Xanax 1mg  Oral Tablet

Xanax 1mg (Alprazolam), sold under the brand name of Xanax, is the medication which belongs to the class of Benzodiazepines. It is used to treat anxiety and panic disorder, as it acts on the brain and nerves (Central Nervous System) to provide a calming effect by boosting the natural chemical in the body. It increases the neurotransmitters GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid) in the brain to produce a calming and relaxing effect. Xanax 1 mg is an effective medication, with low strength and is effective medication if taken with a proper prescription. The medication of Xanax belongs to the same class as diazepam (valium), lorazepam (Ativan), clonazepam (Klonopin).

 

Side effects of Xanax 1mg :

 

The medications like Xanax are not harmful to the extent they are being used for the treatment of anxiety or panic disorder. If the medication is taken for no valid reason, in massive amounts, it might result in side effects or withdrawal symptoms. Some side effects are given below :

Precautions  Xanax 1mg :

 

1. Talk to your doctor about any personal or family history before taking this medication. Tell him if you have :

• Severe lung problems/breathing problems

• Liver disease

• Kidney disease

• Personal or family history of a substance disorder

 

2. Never drive or operate any machinery soon after the consumption of the medicine, as it would make the patient feel drowsy or experience drowsiness.

 

3. Before any surgery, discuss with your doctor or dentist about all the products that are used, including the prescribed, non-prescribed, or herbal products.

 

4. The children under the age of 12 and elderly more than the age of 65, should avoid Xanax or consume it according to the prescription of the doctor.

 

5. The pregnant and nursing mothers are advised to avoid the use of Xanax, for it might harm the infant.

 

Dosage Xanax 1 mg:

The dosage of Xanax 1mg is considered to be moderate for medication. The 1 mg Xanax tablet is blue with an oval shape and imprint “XANAX 1.0”. It is recommended to start the medication initially with a dose of 0.25 or 0.5 mg. Although the dose may be increased to achieve a maximum effect on the patient’s body at an interval of 3-4 days, the maximum daily dosage of a person should not be more than 4 mg.

 

In the case of Xanax 1 mg, one can get a moderate amount of dosage, and advised to consume 4 mg Xanax in a day, so four doses of 1 mg Xanax is appropriate for the patient consuming 1 mg dosage.
